7. Law Enforcement and Public Safety – With the COVID-19 crisis, health care is paramount in our discussions and actions. We must work closely with the hospital and other health care providers to keep our resident’s health. This means we need to help provide needed equipment and supplies. The county, along with the city, needs to provide leadership as we work to bring back our economy. The President of the United States has given us a three-phase plan that allows state and local leaders much latitude. However, this plan is carried out, we need to work with local services, businesses, and industries to implement a plan for phase 2 and phase 3 that is tailored to Churchill County.
I PLEDGE to continue to work with local health care providers and our local law enforcement to keep Churchill County safe for our residents.
