6. County/City Relations – Our best friends are often those within our own county. We need to understand that the elected officials representing the City of Fallon and Churchill County are all working in the best interests of local residents. Therefore, we all basically have the same agenda no matter what the subject. We need to communicate often with one another so that we work in the best interests of our constituency. We may not always agree, but we can keep the lines of communication open and keep talking. County commissioners must remember that those within the city limits are county residents too and deserve our attention and consideration.
I PLEDGE that I will promote good relations with the City of Fallon representatives and focus on working together in the best interest of our citizens. I will always consider ALL county residents, including those within the city limits, when making my decisions.
